Jason Williamson named CEO as MythWorx outperforms hundreds of LLMs on MMLU-Pro
The former Oracle executive and U.S. Marine Corps veteran takes the helm as MythWorx’s hybrid architecture posts standout MMLU-Pro results at a fraction of the power.

DALLAS (Sept. 25, 2025). MythWorx, a next-generation AI startup with a unique AI/AGI construct and architecture and pioneering reasoning capabilities, today announced the appointment of Jason Williamson as its chief executive officer. He brings a successful track record as a technology executive to lead the company.
Meet Jason Williamson
Williamson most recently served as an executive director at Oracle, overseeing enterprise technology and global innovation leadership. There he led startup and research initiatives, growing the startup customer base from 250 to more than 3,000 companies. Before Oracle, he was a global leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he started and led private equity and management advisory partnerships. He also served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps.
“My focus is on growing the team, safeguarding and promoting our groundbreaking AGI innovations and benchmarking results, and delivering our capabilities to market.”
— Jason Williamson, CEO of MythWorx
“Jason’s decision to join MythWorx is a powerful validation of the team and our technology that addresses the power usage and compute limitations of LLMs. His leadership experience at Oracle and AWS, combined with his visionary mindset, makes him the ideal leader to maximize our potential as the next generation of AI innovation.”
— Wade Myers, Co-founder and Chairman of MythWorx
Myers is a serial software entrepreneur and venture capital investor. He is the co-founder and general partner of Eagle Venture Fund, a global impact venture capital firm made up of several funds that invest in early-stage technology companies.
MMLU-Pro results
MythWorx took part in MMLU-Pro benchmarking, an open-source benchmark that tests models across dozens of subjects, to show how architectural ingenuity can outperform brute-force scaling on complex reasoning tasks. The results show MythWorx leading on power consumption and sustainability, a critical answer to the power constraints that could stall AI’s expansion. They include:
About one-tenth the power of a typical LLM for the same workload
71.24% accuracy with zero pretraining, no chain-of-thought prompting and no retries
About 1.2 seconds per query, compared with 5 to 10 seconds for LLMs
Just 14 billion parameters, compared with 600 billion or more in LLMs like DeepSeek
Outperformed models hundreds of times larger, including DeepSeek-R1
A best-in-class 87.64% accuracy on the math portion of the test
Domain-specific reasoning on complex legal cases, physics problems and medical diagnostics, without prior fine-tuning
“LLMs do not have true reasoning capabilities, and fall short of the breakthrough performance of MythWorx. Other firms run on power-hungry GPUs in a highly inefficient way that simply cannot scale at the current pace. They require massive datasets and pretraining to perform acceptably. We have a hybrid architecture that’s designed to self-improve and adapt just like a human brain, without the need for any pretraining. It’s a ‘black swan’ moment for AI that will democratize access to high-performance reasoning through elegant design, not raw power.”
— Jason Williamson, CEO of MythWorx
Key capabilities
